I know you have all been wondering that haven't you? Well, she is still here and kicking! Just got a little side-tracked for a couple of months. Sorry everyone. If I could only tell you what has been goin' on in my life recently you would think to yourself, "THANK GOD I'M NOT HER!". No, seriously, you would! Anyway, just lots of "stuff". And we all have "STUFF" don't we? But God is good all the time.
My mom is doing great for those of you who have been asking and wondering. We are just SO thankful for her healing and recovery. Everyday she gets a little stronger and a little more like her "old self". She is doing more and more on her own and has even started sewing some samples for the store again. That makes me very happy. She is not back to work in the studio yet, and with winter coming, getting her out of the house will be harder, but I'm thinking I may just have to go kidnap her for a few hours a couple of days a week!
Anyway, on to business...... thought I would share some pics of our newest patterns and some of the things goin' on here at the store and design studio!
Our newest patterns for wool are called "Bessie's Bloomers" (my grandmother's name).They are adorable little floral mats that you can use under a candle, or a lamp. Under a vase of flowers would be great too!
I love the cream houndstooth, but we've also done them in a black background too, which really makes them POP!
We have 4 different designs and I'll show you the rest of them in the next few days. My mom made all of these samples and her stitching is just so perfect. Since finishing Chemo, her eyesight has started getting better again, but not back to normal. It would be frustrating not to be able to do the things you love when you can't see well enough anymore. Those of you who have been praying for her, please pray that her eyesight would improve. We know, God is able to do exceedingly above and beyond all that we can hope or imagine, even restore eyesight. WOOHOO!
