One of the "new" fabric companies that we found at this market was Lecien. Now, our friend Pam Kitty Morning and Elizabeth from Late Bloomer Quilts, have been using their fabric for quite a while and blogging about it so this company isn't new to some of you but it was new to me and our store. This HAPPY pillowcase and laundry bag are patterns of Pams and features Lecien's Flower Sugar line of fabric. Isn't it SUPER DELICIOUS!!!
Anyway, here is another one of Pam's designs called "Frilly Bag" in the same Flower Sugar fabric line. Isn't adorable? Although I gotta tell you, it kind of reminds me of a clothespin bag that someone in my family had. I have a vague memory of it hanging on the clothesline and I don't know if it was my mom's or grandma's? Could have even been one of my aunts? Not sure, but I love it!
Lecien also has a kids "basics" line called Minny Muu. Look how cute these are..... I don't know who's little animal bag pattern that is but it was just STINKIN' ADORABLE!
And look at this..... we all love a free pattern don't we!! Go here and you can print out this one! One of the girls here at TTD suggested selling this line on our website since there are not a lot of places to find it, but we'll just have to see how hard it is to keep it "in stock" here in the store before we try putting it on-line.
I'll be back soon with another new fabric company we found! Stay tuned......
****Thought For The Day****
On the subject of Happiness:
"When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so
long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." Helen Keller
and still my favorite:
"I have found that most people are about as happy
as they make up their minds to be."
Abraham Lincoln
So true! Be happy and blessed!

I have been blog hopping today and I came across your blog. I had to drop a line since my aunt married a Tadd which I thought was a very unusual last name so I just had to drop a note and a Hi from Utah.

Pam's bag is cute!!! It reminds me, too, of my Aunt Hattie's clothespin holder.
I love Lecien fabrics. I hadn't seen them before (other than Pam, Elizabeth, and Monica's blogs) and then I saw some in a booth at the Paducah Quilt Show.
